This light green crackle glaze bowl was broken and repaired with the utmost care using a proprietary family-developed Kintsugi technique. The process, honed and refined over years, features a brass-based metal blend, that achieves a striking finish almost identical to real gold at a far more affordable price point.
Kintsugi is the Japanese method of repairing broken vessels with gold and literally translates to "golden joinery" or "to patch with gold". This technique celebrates the beauty in scars and the potential for healing to make us resilient and strong.
