Small White Kintsugi Cup

This cup was broken and then repaired using Kintsugi, the Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold bringing to light and celebrating the scars that are proof of resilience, that we are whole not in spite of our scars but because of them - we are  made more beautiful in their imperfection.

The cracks are real. The repair is done by hand, every line traced with a brass metal blend that creates a gold effect finish nearly identical to real gold.
